Dale Jr Started out in Late Models
Written by Mark on July 16, 2008 – 8:58 pm -We all know and follow the track happenings of Dale Jr. Whether we like him or not, Dale has a place in NASCAR for life, not only for the accomplishments of his famous father, but his own driving ability as well.
If you are from the Concord or Charlotte NC area, chances are pretty good you have seen Dale over at Concord Motorsports park driving in Late Model Cars at one point or another. Heck, if you time it right, you may see him now... on the off chance he has a Friday night to get over there!
Late Model Cars are not considered entry level by any means, but they are a stepping stone through the ranks in NASCAR. If you follow racing much... several drivers you watch today started in Late Model Cars at tracks just like this...
