What a Weekend at the new ZMax Dragway in Charlotte!

Being the lucky recipient of 4 day passes to the all new ZMax Dragway in Charlotte, I had to force myself to go.... right!

My seats were in the new John Force Grandstand, which were right on the left lane side of the track, 4 rows deep, right across from the tree! Beside the sweltering heat and constant burning of the eyeballs due to the Nitro Methane, I was like a kid in a candy store! (read more...)

How do you make a car racing seat?

Hi can I make a car racing seat like a Sparco or Recaro seat?

Truthfully, unless you have the means to manufacture your own, its cheaper to buy a racing seat already built!

Racing seats come in all shapes, sizes and materials. Depending on the type of racing you intend to do, you will base your choices on that most important factor!

For instance, you wouldn't buy a fiberglass drag racing seat if you intended to go road course racing! Likewise, if you plan on racing oval on larger tracks with higher speeds, you are going to have different needs than a local short track.

This past weekend at the Brickyard 400, NASCAR saw hundreds of these tires get shredded to bits on the race track! All at a huge cost to the teams...
