Passing Below the Yellow Line

The rule has always been... under race conditions, a driver cannot advance their position by passing below the yellow line on a superspeedway. If they do advance, they must relinquish that position as soon as it is safely possible.

The exceptions to this rule: Being forced below the line and the last lap!

Regan Smith was Robbed

NASCAR bent its own rules today! Don't get me wrong, I do not pull for or against Tony Stewart and it was great to finally see him in victory lane at Talladega, but in my opinion, there will always be an asterisk next to the win.

My seats were in the new John Force Grandstand, which were right on the left lane side of the track, 4 rows deep, right across from the tree! Beside the sweltering heat and constant burning of the eyeballs due to the Nitro Methane, I was like a kid in a candy store!

Here are a couple shots from our seats:

I thought this was somewhat ironic, the two leading racing parts houses - matched up in a semi!

Next was a shot of this Pro  Stock burning through a set of Drag Slicks!

The seats were sweet and I look forward to next year!
